Industrial fluid line selection normally needs four pieces of information before an accurate model and quotation can be given:
1. Media. Hydraulic oil, water, coolant, steam, chemicals or dry bulk — media decides the tube material.
2. Temperature and pressure. Working temperature range, maximum working pressure and start/stop surge peaks.
3. Size and interface. Bore, length, minimum bend radius and fitting type (DIN, SAE, BSP, JIS, ORFS, flange, etc.).
4. Installation environment. Vibration, abrasion, outdoor exposure, cleanliness requirements, or flame-retardant and anti-static needs.
