Compact hose with a reduced bend radius is used where routing space is limited — machine interiors, automation equipment and cabinets.
Notes:
1. Compact and standard types differ in outside diameter and minimum bend radius; when substituting, verify rated pressure and fitting type as well.
2. Even compact hose has a limit — never install below the stated bend radius.
3. On robots and moving parts subject to repeated bending, choose a flexible construction and allow spare length.
4. Add sleeves or clamps where the hose touches frames or other lines to avoid abrasion.
5. Avoid twist; use the axial stripe on the cover to align.
