A sanitary high/medium-pressure hose assembly for food machinery, pharma dosing, bio-fermentation and cosmetics, with inner tube compliant to food-contact regulations, non-toxic, low-migration and CIP-cleanable. It holds a line stricter than "no particles": the medium itself must not be contaminated by the hose — plasticizers, cure residues and odour must not migrate into the product.
Why Sanitary Is a Different Standard
Article 19's "high cleanliness" is industrial — don't let particles jam a servo valve. Sanitary is product-facing: the medium is the food, drug or cosmetic being made; any inner-tube additive migration, odour or residue goes straight into the final product, triggering compliance rejection and brand incidents. So a sanitary hose must simultaneously: meet food-contact regulations (e.g., FDA, EC 1935/2004, GB 4806 class), be low-extractable/low-migration, have a smooth non-stick bore, and survive periodic CIP/SIP hot caustic/acid/steam without degrading.
Four Layers of Sanitary Technology
① Food-grade inner tube. Elastomer/thermoplastic system compliant to food-contact rules with controlled migrants, passing relevant food-contact compliance assessment, preventing media contamination at the source.
② Smooth non-stick bore. Low-roughness, non-adhering inner wall suppresses residue and microbial attachment, lowering cleaning difficulty and cross-contamination risk.
③ Cleanable without degrading. Structure withstands periodic CIP (clean-in-place)/SIP (sterilize-in-place) hot caustic, acid and steam; seals and inner tube don't swell, bleed or chalk under long-term cleaning.
④ Full traceability. Material compliance certificate and lot archive with each assembly, hose markable, meeting food/pharma audit and traceability needs.
Typical Applications
Food filling and retort equipment, pharma dosing and bio-fermentation, cosmetics emulsifying and transfer, dairy and beverage lines, any hydraulic/transfer line whose medium enters the final product.
