An anti-aging, non-hardening UHP hose assembly line for outdoor long-service, long-storage and multi-year continuous-duty equipment. It does not solve "can it be installed today" but a more hidden stiffness: after a year or two in service, the hose slowly hardens and becomes brittle from inside out — aging quietly collecting its debt.
Why a Hose Gets "Harder with Age"
Unlike the instant stiffness from low temperature, service hardening is chronic, with three overlapping paths:
Compression set accumulation. The inner tube and seal interface are under sustained compression; if the material resists compression poorly, the rubber stays "flattened" and won't recover, losing flexibility and drifting crimp interference, raising leak risk. The industry quantifies this with hot-air compression set (e.g., 70 ℃ × 24 h); a quality compound keeps it low.
Plasticizer bloom and migration. Some low-cost compounds slowly lose plasticizer over time and temperature; the rubber hardens and cracks as if it lost its "lubricating oil" — the usual culprit behind "hard after two years."
Ozone, UV and media extraction. Outdoor lines suffer long-term ozone and UV, cracking the cover; incompatible fluid extracts additives and degrades crosslinking, hardening the inner tube too.
Four Layers of Anti-Aging Technology
① Low-compression-set inner tube. Durable elastomer keeps hot-air compression set low (indicative: ≤25% at 70 ℃ × 24 h), retaining elasticity and seal interference under long-term compression.
② Low-bloom durable formulation. Less migratory plasticizer, more durable/high-molecular-weight components, cutting the root cause of "hardens with age" at the formulation level.
③ Ozone- and UV-resistant cover. Cover compounded with antiozonants and UV stabilizers and a thickened weather layer, slowing outdoor cracking and chalking and extending the protection window.
④ Media-stable liner. Inner tube selected for compatibility with the actual fluid, avoiding additive extraction that degrades crosslinking and hardens the tube.
Typical Applications
Outdoor long-service construction and agricultural machinery, long-storage spare assemblies, multi-year continuous production-line hydraulics, mining and port equipment, scenarios requiring retained flexibility at end of service life.
