A high-pressure hose assembly with an anti-burn heat-shield sleeve, for furnace fronts, continuous-casting secondary cooling zones, casting and welding areas where the hose body sits close to radiant heat or is showered with splashed molten slag. It complements Product One: Product One solves "hot fluid"; this one solves "baked hose" — the heat source is outside the line, not within it.
Why "External High Temperature" Is Harder to Guard
A conventional hydraulic hose cover typically tops out around 100–125 ℃. Once it sits near a furnace under sustained radiant heat, or meets splashed slag and welding sparks, the cover can char, ignite or spall within minutes, exposing and rapidly failing the reinforcement. The trouble is that media temperature is often normal here — the circuit oil is fine, but one hose segment happens to run against a heat source. That leaves two options: re-route for safe distance (often impossible on site), or put a thermal armor on the hose body.
Four Layers of Protection
① Heat-shield anti-burn sleeve. A multi-layer glass-fiber / silicone / wire-mesh sleeve over the hose sharply cuts radiant heat transfer to the body and resists splashed slag and welding sparks short-term, preventing the cover from directly charring.
② Self-extinguishing, non-propagating. Sleeve and cover use self-extinguishing compounds that do not sustain burning or propagate along the hose when exposed to flame or sparks, meeting basic fire-safety needs at furnace and casting stations.
③ Slag-resistant and easy to clean. The dense sleeve surface resists slag adhesion; cooled splatter peels off easily, reducing local hot spots from slag buildup.
④ Removable for inspection. The sleeve is detachable, letting crews lift it to inspect the hose body without breaking the line — balancing protection with inspection efficiency.
