Before changing the hose specification, check these six causes — most premature failures are not caused by the hose itself.
1. Crimp size. Too loose and the fitting pulls off; too tight and the wire reinforcement is cut. Pressure-test after crimping and check for abnormal rubber extrusion or cracked ferrules.
2. Bend radius. Below the specified minimum bend radius, stress concentrates in the outer wire layer and impulse life drops sharply.
3. Installation twist. A twisted assembly carries extra torque under pressure and loosens the fitting. Use an axial stripe on the cover to align.
4. Insufficient length. Hose lengthens slightly under pressure; if too short it stays in tension and the fitting root fails first.
5. External abrasion. Continuous rubbing against frames or other lines wears through the cover — use guards, sleeves or clamps.
6. Medium and temperature mismatch. Oil temperature or fluid type outside the hose range accelerates tube ageing; confirm both when selecting.
Xuantone crimps assemblies to your specified length, fittings and working conditions, with pressure testing and inspection records per batch.
